Market Opportunity

The long-duration energy storage (LDES) market is projected to be vast:

  • McKinsey: $4 trillion by 2040
  • UBS: 34x market growth
  • LDES Council: “Must scale 50x faster”
  • Bloomberg: “Exponential growth”

Few markets are measured in trillions of dollars. RheEnergise’s solution delivers best-in-class economics and is designed for the most active segments of the traded energy market. As a result, we are experiencing exceptional customer demand.

Prof. Richard Cochrane CIO

Co-Founder

Prof. Cochrane was Director of Education and Associate Professor at Exeter University. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Energy Institute. Richard designed the Quiet Revolution qr5 helical VAWT. He also led the development of a high efficiency double regulated Kaplan turbine.

Market Opportunity

There is an urgent need for diverse storage technologies for varying durations. Given the enormous scale of the market opportunity, no single technology can meet this demand alone. HD Hydro® fills a critical gap.

RheEnergise® will generate their revenues through enabling HD Hydro projects via:

Consultancy: Supporting project design and execution
Component Supply:
Delivering core HD Hydro systems
via specialist third parties

O&M Services:
 For supplied components
Operational Royalties

Target customers: Renewable energy developers, Independent Power Producers
and infrastructure operators.

Beachhead markets: Mines, data centres, co-located solar/wind, and sites constrained by water availability where legacy hydropower is not viable.

Customer acquisition is relationship-led. They co-identify viable sites, provide performance and cost data, and facilitate development.
