RheEnergise’s patented High-Density Hydro® (HD Hydro®) is a next-generation Pumped Storage Hydropower (PSH) solution delivering clean, low-cost long-duration energy storage. By using a high-density, environmentally benign working fluid, HD Hydro provides 2.5x the performance of traditional PSH.
Clean:
Bringing reliability to intermittent renewables and eliminating the need for fossil fuels.
Low cost:
PSH has over 100 years of technological development. By leveraging this established industry for global deployment we mitigate technological risk. Being 2.5x smaller, by volume, means dramatically lower project costs.
Scalable:
HD Hydro® uses hills not mountains, unlocking more than enough sites to solve the energy transition many times over.
Our Market Opportunity
The long-duration energy storage (LDES) market is projected to be vast:
- McKinsey: $4 trillion by 2040
- UBS: 34x market growth
- LDES Council: “Must scale 50x faster”
- Bloomberg: “Exponential growth”
Few markets are measured in trillions of dollars. RheEnergise’s solution delivers best-in-class economics and is designed for the most active segments of the traded energy market. As a result, we are experiencing exceptional customer demand.
